Abstract
- The article presents a paper which attempts to point out some of the possible connections between changes in archaeological and human paleontological remains from the Middle to Upper Paleolithic period. It offers information on the research about the early Würm of the Levant, and examines if the Late Mousterian's archaeological data suggest a shift in the adaptation of man to his environment. It is recommended that a change in hunting pattern had led to adaptive responses in tool manufacture and social grouping.
