Abstract
- The article reports on Walt Whitman's vocation for the "New York Herald," beginning January 1888. The author highlights various papers written by Whitman for the Herald, which includes his article on Emperor William of Germany in 1888, entitled "The Dead Emperor." The paper also discussed the end of Whitman's career as an author with the Herald.
