Abstract
- The article reports on a study which evaluates the toxicity of chemicals and contaminated soils and waste waters through automated short-term genotoxicity testing. It aims to show the applicability of an automated test system for evaluating genotoxic effects of different various chemicals and environmental samples. It applies chemicals with different physical, chemical and toxilogical properties in automated test systems during optimization. It shows that both the testing of non-volatile substances with genotoxic effects and the testing of water and soil samples in the automatic system work well.
