Abstract
- The article discusses the licensing policy of Australia on foreign companies. Foreign companies use licensing in the country's many sectors, such as information technology. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is the one that regulates the franchise since 1998. Details of the law of Australia concerning intellectual property (IP) are given. Several licensing agreements in the country as of January 2008 are cited, including GE Security and QRSciences and Namco-Bandai and MobileActive.
