Chapter IV.

Chapter IV of Part I of the book "Australia Felix," by Henry Handel Richardson is presented. It illustrates the journey of Mahony and Purdy to Melbourne in which along the way, the two reminisce the day they first met. Mahony also succeeded in persuading Purdy to quit his present job and promised to help him to look for a steady paying job. They also talked about the girl whom Purdy was interested to.
