Abstract
- Chapter 19 of the book "The Crest-Wave of Evolution: A Course of Lectures in History, Given to the Graduates' Class in the Raja-Yoga College, Point Loma, in the College-Year 1918-1919," by Kenneth Morris is presented. It attempts to recover and throw light on the cyclic movements of the human spirit, by exploring the ancient history of Rome, Italy. It narrates the life and struggles of Augustus, the first emperor of the Roman Empire, and the sacrifices of his empire.
