Abstract: Chapter VIII of the book "Desert Gold: A Romance of the Border," by Zane Grey is presented. It explores on the task of the three ranger Gale, Lash and Ladd in getting the back of Belding's best-loved horse, Blanco Diablo. It highlights the race of Blanco Diablo and Gale's horse Blanco Sol. It describes the running of Blanco Sol as remorseless driving power with every long and wonderful strides.
