Abstract

The article reports that few caffeine studies have been published which include cognitive and physiologic considerations for the athlete. Lower doses of caffeine can be as effective as higher doses during exercise performance without any negative coincidence. Caffeine can improve the cognitive aspects of performance when an athlete has not slept well.
