Eastern Europe and Turkey: BRIC wannabes.

The article discusses the prediction made by Goldman Sachs Global Economics Department on the economic and geopolitical influence of Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC countries). The Goldman Sachs forecasted in 2003 that the BRIC would become increasingly visible in the developed world and would be dominating by 2050. BRIC have surpassed the prediction where the original analysis projected the four economies would compromise more than 10 percent of the global output by the end of the decade.
