Abstract
- An essay is presented on the kind of leadership qualities needed in the next U.S. president. The author discusses the concepts of peace and prosperity and how these were enjoyed by Americans over the last 10 years. He suggests that September 11, 2001 cost Americans the security of peace and with the 2008 financial crisis, prosperity seems uncertain. He explores the qualities of greatness that history has shown us in American leaders and suggests they're usually appreciated in retrospect.
