Abstract
- The article presents a study that explores the genetic admixture of eight Mexican indigenous populations in Mexico. Evaluated through the five polymorphic DNA loci, the study shows the trihybrid model of the groups with Ameridian, Spanish and African ancestry. It also demonstrates that the genetic admixture of these population, who as present speak the American-Indian language, can be differentiated with less ancestral indigenous contributions that those considered as Mestizo population.
