Abstract: The article presents an overview of the recommendations of the Academic Network for Conservational Hip Outcomes Research study group regarding the most important aspects of radiographic technique and image interpretation which are used to evaluate pain in the mature human hip. Changes which have been seen in the orthopedic evaluation of hip pain are discussed.
