Abstract
- The article discusses the concept of pharmacology. Pharmacology is a study of drugs that can be subdivided into the study of how the body absorbs and eliminates them, what they do to the body, and their known side effects. To understand the nature of drugs, it is important to determine their general classifications as prescription and nonprescription. The key site for metabolizing drug is the liver while kidneys play the key role in excretion of drugs.
