Abstract

The article offers information on a technical paper regarding the monitoring and measurement of data acquisition network performance employed in ATLAS (A Toroidal LHC Apparatus) detector in Large Hadron Collider (LHC) of European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) based in Geneva, Switzerland. It mentions the application of cross-correlation of multiple databases, a two-dimensional (2D) graph display tools, and a three-dimensional (3D) visualization system to monitor the data acquisition networks. It adds the customized aggregate plots used to improved the display of traffic analysis and diagnostic. It argues that a 3D visualization system is a great help for a complex network architecture.
