- Presents a numerical method to evaluate the frequency-dependent impedance of the third rail used in the traction power systems of the Taipei Rapid Transit Systems in Taipei, Taiwan. Influence of the skin effect upon variations of rail resistance and inductance; Calculation of rail impedances; Distribution of current at different harmonic frequency.
