Abstract
- The article examines the conditions of Brazil in terms of its climate for investment and trade. It relates the constitutional amendments passed in Brazil to encourage foreign investment. It presents an overview of the tax benefits offered by the Brazilian government for the Manaus Free Trade Zone. It discusses various trade regulations in Brazil that may affect U.S. companies that seek to export to Brazil.
