Abstract

The article focuses on foundationalism and epistemology. It states that epistemology was singled out as the foundationalist attitude's chief embodiment. It mentions that the issues which surround the claims of foundationalism and epistemology have got through the scholarship of both minor and major figures in the history of philosophy. It also notes the critiques of Theodore Adorno on the theory of logical absolutism of Edmund Husserl. It adds that the achievements of the critique of Adorno indicate the way to refinement of techniques, reconstruction of arguments, and subject matter expansion.
