Abstract
- The article offers information on the failure of Desert Storm F-16 mission of Major Jeff "Tico" Tice and his brethren from the United States Air Forces in Europe's (USAFE) 614th Tactical Fighter Squadron, the Lucky Devils. It discusses the preparations of Tice's military team to launch as part of a massive daylight raid to bomb a series of targets in Baghdad, Iraq. Tice was leading a flight of four F-16s in the last wave of a 72-aircraft attack force on January 19, 1991, the third day of the mission.
