Abstract
- This article features a study on the inhibition of acid formation in the mouth by compounds of the amino acid naphthoquinone. Amino derivatives of 2,3-dichloro-l,4-naplithoquinone were tested for their ability to inhibit acid formation. Amines tested were amino pyridines, sulfonamides, alky lamines, and amino acids. Sulfonamides inhibited the most acid formation.
