Abstract
- The article presents a study which investigated the molecular variability of four populations of Longidorus kuiperi from Mediterranean coastal sand dunes by sequencing the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) 1-5.8S-ITS2 and the D2-D3 regions of the recombinant DNA (rDNA). It outlines the features of Longidorus, an ectoparasitic migratory nematode. It describes the phylogenetic relationships among Longidorus species.
