Abstract
- The article discusses time-temperature relations of dental instruments heated in root-canal instrument sterilizers. A study was conducted where thermocouples were arc-welded to the dental instruments being tested before the instruments were heated with fine glass beads, table salt, and refill metal alloy. Glass beads at 424° F were found to work with root-canal instruments.
