Abstract: The article focuses on the awards given to educators at the Queen's Birthday Honours event in Great Britain, and also offers information on some personnel changes in the periodical "Times Educational Supplement." William Moorcroft, principal of Trafford College, Manchester, England, was honoured for his work with further education at national level. Karen Dempsey, the journal's editor, resigned for personal reasons three weeks before the completion of six months of probationary period.
