Abstract

A literary criticism of the book "Ossi di Seppia," by Eugenio Montale is presented. It explores the influences brought by Petrarch, who has been seen as the lexical source of style and rhetorical strategies in Montale's poetry. It also examines the poetical models present in the poems included in the collection, as well as building of languages from historical terms.
