Abstract
- The article discusses the design and trial deployments of indoor navigation with camera phones. The indoor navigation system associates locations with markers to offer a building orientation guide that relies on camera phones. A marker-based tracking suitability for continuous navigation in mobile phones has been examined through a controlled user study comparing system with a map without localization and with a global positioning system (GPS)-like real-time localization. Thus, the subjective experiences of users about ease of use and locate awareness have been evaluated.
