Abstract
- The article presents information regarding the treatment of dental caries in adults. Studies have concluded that the next generation of young adults will be more susceptible to dental caries. It can be assumed that the causative agent does not provide life-long protection, but confers an additional degree of protection to a person. The causative agent helps in declining the rate at which dental caries occur. This will reduce the probability that the enamel surface will produce a clinical disease. According to the author, researchers should consider the future treatment needs of adults in their studies.
