Pregnancy and Pills.

This article discusses a movement known as the Second Wave of clinical research, established by thirty American doctors, ethicists, scientists and government officials who seek to further research into the affects of various drugs taken during pregnancy. It is stated that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approves only a dozen prescription drugs during pregnancy, and that seventy percent of other drugs are classified in a category offering undetermined safety data.
