Abstract
- Explores the surface chemistry of furan and its derivatives using thermal desorption spectroscopy, x-ray and ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopies and high resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy. Three-dimensional island growth mode of fural adsorption; Formation of a carbon monoxide and hydrogen desorbing due to thermal annealing.
