Abstract

Proposes a hybrid magnetic probe system to determine the magnitude and position of the plasma current in a long pulsed tokamak such as the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor. Measurement of fast varying magnetic field and a rotating coil magnetic probe; Energy source of the rotating coil; Flat frequency response achieved.
