An interview with Jeff R. Detweiler, director for broadcast business development of Ibiquity Digital is presented. When asked where broadcasters stand with the proposed digital level increase, he replied that Ibiquity and the broadcasters proposed that the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) move forward immediately with power increase for commercial stations. He added that the National Public Radio (NPR) declared support for power increase. He found it difficult to hazard a date when FCC will finalize power increase.
