OCLC Launches WorldCat Mobile Pilot.

This article offers information on the pilot program launched by the Online Computer Library Center (OLC) which aims to make collections from libraries visible through mobile devices. Through the WorldCat Mobile program, users can search for and find books and other library materials near them via a Web application that they can access from a personal digital assistant (PDA) or smartphone. The pilot program is available in both the U.S. and Canadian markets. Included is a list of the WorldCat Mobile pilot's other functionalities.
