Abstract
- Unlike their octahedral analogues, copper(ii) compounds with trigonal prismatic stereochemistry undergo an elongation of two bonds in cispositions due to a Jahn–Teller effect, a behavior that can also occur in slightly twisted octahedra. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
