Abstract
- The author comments on the paper about training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. He thinks that the paper's author implies that the views of psychotherapists about frequency are fixed and often outmoded doctrines which must be adhered rather than thought about. He finds it difficult to understand the author in terms of identifying the value of psychoanalytic psychotherapy. He agrees with the author about the need to be constantly vigilant against mindlessness.
