Notes on contributors.

The article presents information on the contributors to the May 1, 2001 issue of the journal The Sociological Review. Peter Armstrong is currently Professor of management at Keele University. Although he has published in the fields of industrial sociology and industrial relations, he is probably best known for his work in critical accounting and has previously held a chair in accounting at the University of Sheffield. Nicolas Bacon is Reader in Human Resource Management, University of Nottingham Business School. He has published widely on the reactions of employees and trade unions to Human Resource Management. Norman Bonney was formerly Professor and Head of Department at Napier University, Edinburgh. Fumie Kumagai is Professor of Sociology Graduate School of international Co-operation & Department of Foreign Studies at Kyorin University, Tokyo. David Mason is professor of Sociology, Associate Dean for Research and Head of the Graduate School in the Faculty of Human Sciences at the University of Plymouth.
