Abstract

The article discusses a study on behaviors and ultraviolet (UV) radiation exposure in a cohort of adult survivors of childhood and adolescent cancer in the U.S. The study examined the risk of skin cancer due to the exposure to radiation therapy, as shown by research from the Childhood Cancer Survivor Study (CCSS). The subjects of the study were childhood and adolescent cancer survivors and it found that they have an increased use of sunscreen and with lower tanning practices.
