A study on manpower utilization and collective bargaining in local government is being done by David Lewin, Raymond D. Horton and James W. Kuhn. A field work is being continued by Leonard Sayles which deals with diffuse organizational systems. Another research work, being organized by B. J. Widick under the sponsorship of Ford Foundation includes individual papers on the subject of work in the automobile industry.
