Abstract
- The article argues that the question of home in the films "Urte ilunak" and "Yoyes" is addressed in various ways. It mentions that the films suggest the significance of gender in debates regarding Basque cinema in Spain and show that neither nation nor gender can be used as theoretical framework. It notes that the film's focus on female protagonists reminds the need to integrate the multiple and complex forms of exclusion and marginalisation.
