Abstract

The article reports on economic policies implemented in New Zealand as of November 2009. Falling corporate profits and small revenue from personal income tax contributed to the 10.5 billion New Zealand dollars deficit in the country in fiscal year 2008/2009. On the other hand, tax rulings are causing concerns in the banking sector.
