Abstract

The article offers information on the vital role played by scientists to the growth of high technologies and bioinformatics in Costa Rica. These intellectuals investigate specific biological models to provide needed data to decipher the encrypted information in the contemporary cybernetic Rosetta Stone. Moreover, some of their researches linked human DNA sequence with specific phenotypes, while others contribute to sustaining ecological and epidemiological investigations.
