Abstract
- The article discusses five things the U.S. could learn from China. The author notes that China has dealt with the world economic crisis in an ambitious manner by increasing infrastructure spending to over $500 billion over two years. The author notes that China also invests heavily in education and caring for the elderly. The article discusses the tendency on the part of the Chinese to be more forward-looking and save money and spend less, than their counterparts in the U.S.
