Transfer Efficiency and Distributional Impacts of U.S. Farm Support: Evidence from a Macro–Micro Simulation.

The article analyzes distributional and transfer efficiency of farm support policies in the U.S., related to macro-micro simulation evidences. A one percent shock to national net farm income in the country was considered for analysis. Results of the analysis show cost-effectiveness of enterprise exclusion for increasing aggregate farm income through mechanism of support and inequality reducing impact in farm household population.
