Abstract
- The article discusses Canada's H1N1 influenza vaccination plan. Dr. David Scheifele, director of the Vaccine Evaluation Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia, comments on the chaos that ensued after he ordered nurses at his hospital to administer the vaccine to the highest priority health care workers. Canadians' H1N1 anxiety, production of shots by the GlaxoSmithKline plant, and the country's pandemic preparedness, the "Pandemic Influenza Plan," are discussed.
