Abstract
- The article reports on the conservation partnerships at the Ventura River watershed to restore and protect the endangered population of steelhead in southern California. It states that the U.S. National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is collaborating with the Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) on the Matilija Dam Ecosystem Restoration Project. It adds that the project aims to reverse the environmental damage and restore the riverine environment to increase the steelhead population and habitat.
