Abstract

The article analyzes the application of the Beutelsbach Consensus principles of controversiality and multi-perspectivity in the constructivist political education of pupils. The potential consequences of the approach to generate epistemological relativism are discussed. Approaches to educational discourse on the subjects of social justice, democracy, and ecological responsibility are examined.
