Presents a study which investigated a paleosol in the Yulong Mountains near the Tibetan Plateau, China, to reconstructure the paleoclimatic conditions during the formation of the plateau. Possible role of the uplift of the Tibetan Plateau in global environmental changes after the mid-Miocene period; Methodology; Results and discussion.
