Abstract

The article reports on the strict compliance of employers to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) during H1N1 virus alert emergency in Texas. It notes that the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has issued a guidance to employers on how to gather information without violating the ADA in relevance to the declared pandemic of H1N1 flu virus. In this regard, the employers are advised to get information through examinations, post-offer and surveying the workforce.
