Abstract

The article explores the issues surrounding the availability and accessibility of data related to climate change. It claims that the controversies surrounding global warming data reached its peak when the University of East Anglia's (UEA) Climatic Research Unit (CRU) decided against the freedom of information (FOI) requests for its temperature records. It also highlights the implications of the FOI issues for climate scientists and the entire field of climate science.
