Country Conditions.

The article presents information on the economic and political conditions in United Arab Emirates. A free trade agreement (FTA) has been negotiated between the country and the U.S. in March 2005 but in 2007, they announced that FTA negotiations will not be completed. The country is expected to become more feasible to foreign investment as a result of its existing investment laws and regulations. In 2008, oil and gas will continue to be a major sector for foreign investment.
