Corporate Tax Burden from a Worldwide Perspective.

The article presents an analysis of tax burdens brought by Corporate Income Tax experienced by different companies on a worldwide perspective. The Effective Tax Rate (ETR) is noted as a tool used for the analytic study of companies based on different countries such as Japan, Australia and U.S from 1995 to 2005. It also states that geographical area affects tax burdens imposed on companies. It suggests that assessment of tax burden should be based on ETRs than on legal tax rates.
