Abstract: The article presents a comparative study to test the feasibility of systemically implementing a care program incorporating short-stay admission. It notes that the study was participated by patients with breast cancer from four hospitals in the Netherlands. Through local multidisciplinary meetings and educational outreach visits, it reveals that the care programme with short stay following breast cancer surgery was feasible and safe.
