Abstract: The article describes the case of acute renal failure and anuria due to vitamin D intoxication in two alpaca cria. It states that both cria developed tissue mineralization and acute renal failure after receiving an overdosage of vitamin D. It notes that high vitamin D concentrations in serum and kidney tissue confirmed vitamin D toxicosis in both cases.
